Victoria Azarenka commented on her return from a shoulder injury.
In the first round in Washington, she beat Haley Baptiste - 7:6 (6), 7:6 (3).


It was great to get my shoulder tested. Everything went well, I`m happy.


It was difficult for me to expect a high level of play from myself after such a break and injury, I did not train very much. But I fought hard. In tiebreaks, at important moments, I implemented my plans well. I`m very pleased that I managed to improve at key moments.


After the injury, I tried not to rush. I wasn`t sure that I would be ready at all. In the middle of last week I was thinking: How am I going to play in Washington?


In this match according volleyball predictions I played two sets for the first time. Even during training, I could not do such volumes of work.


And after the break, doubts arise. Sometimes decisions cannot be made so quickly. I had the feeling that I knew what I wanted to do, but there were problems with implementation. I need to clean this up.
